Choose between two sets of variations

    I sell blankets. On the single product page I have variations for size and top fabric. Here’s the issue… for the bottom fabric I want to offer color choices for minky fabric. Unfortunately smooth minky and dimpled minky are not available in the same color options so I need a way to show both sets of colors (one for smooth and another set for dimpled) but only allow the customer to select from one group OR the other but NOT both.

    Anyone know of any available solutions?

    Hi @redbarnblankets,

    Out of the box, WooCommerce has an absolute requirement in that both variations need to be selected.

    With that being said, it doesn’t sound like variations are an ideal fit here – instead, have you considered using addons? If you’re wondering, there’s an extension for addons at https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/.
