Choose between categories in a breadcrumb?

    Hello,

    Say a blog post belongs to two or more categories. Is there a way to choose which category shows up as in a breadcrumb?

    Hi @alekmitch,

    I’m sorry, but there’s not a way to select which category would display in the breadcrumb based on a page assigned to multiple parent categories.

    We do have a filter that removes specific categories, but I’m not sure if this would suit your needs – https://aioseo.com/docs/aioseo_breadcrumbs_trail/

    Hi J,

    Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I don’t think that will help me. It’s surprising that AIOSEO doesn’t have this function, as it seems like a useful addition to an SEO plugin.

    Though it may be just a minor thing that improves user experience, it’s still an improvement, and I hope it is added in the future.
