Choose a new location for these translations

Hello,

Could you please help me to understand what is the meaning of

Choose a new location for these translations

Custom:

The reason why I’m asking that is I’m translating one input field for WooCommerce Checkout page which is Postal Code / ZIP in my own way so I do the translation and after a while the translation will go back to the previous translation by it self.

So, I’m thinking maybe the translation files are shared and whatever change will be applied to all so someone else is fixing my translation. (i’m not sure, if I am correct on that) so what is the solution to keep these files only for my own use?
