• I want to try your Astra theme for my blog. Also I plan to sell my ebooks.

I have chosen “Book Store” Starter Template because it has A Blog part. However it asks a client about his postal address even though all the goods in the shopping cart marked as Virtual and Downloadable. Will I be able to change this behaviour inside WordPress or Woocommerce or Elementor? Or it is a theme dependent feature?

Or does it mean that I need “Ebook Author” Starter Template? I don’t like that template because it has no Blog part, only Events. Besides I can’t see how the page for a single book looks like because on your site “Read more” buttons under book images don’t open new pages and their design is a mystery. (E-books>Read more)

  • Hi @anapest,

Actually, the ecommerce functionalities are coming and are handled by WooCommerce plugin. So, maybe you can find an option to disable the address section for virtual/downloadable products.

As for the Blog part, it is actually just a page that is assigned as the Post page from Settings > Reading. It could be any page. Even when you see a Starter Template that doesn’t have a Blog page, you can create a page and assign it as the Post page.

Regarding the Read more button you were referring to, we can make it open on a new page if we like. There’s an option on the Elementor Button widget for that.

    I hope it will help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
