    Choice + Ad Inserter Plugin

    Blocking ads until consent a user has given consent. See the “How to show ads based on visitors’ consent?” section in their help documentation here. Showing you how to whitelist consent cookies such as the Google Advertising Products Cookie (euconsent-v2[vendor][consents][755]=1) and you also have to Make sure you have Dynamic blocks set to client-side insert – TCF v2.0 based cookie needs to be checked client-side (in the browser).

    * If you are still seeing 1.1 errors, you may also need to whitelist euconsent-v2[purpose][consents][1]=1 to check for Purpose one consent as well.

    Note: Ad Inserter has added some specific guidance related to Quantcast Choice on their help page, but any instructions pertaining to TCF v2.0 on should also be relevant for Quantcast Choice as we are a TCF v2.0 compliant CMP.

    Please make sure you have attempted to follow the blocking instructions provided by Ad Inserter (see above) before reporting Google 2.1a and 1.1 errors here.

    Good morning @rbaronqc & @spacetime, today I want to share and personally thank you for the great work done during all this past weeks, this great news: “All the errors disappeared, a week ago the 2.1a errors at all our sites, as well as the 1.1 that were descending during a pair of weeks, until we no longer have any errors and the Adsense message disappeared!

    I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, if the message will be shown again, due to the complexity of Adsense, but for us today is a great day, a very important and essential achievement, which would not have been possible without your help and advice ?? Thank you!

    I can only advise regarding Ad Inserter, but it seems TCF is working fine.

    Hi @cvrle77, that happened to us in the past, a few weeks ago.
    The 2.1a errors dissapeared in all our sites the 1st of september and a few days after (the 9th sept) they returned back, and then again they started to drop down for about 2 weeks and then they dissapeared and till today didn’t come back.
    Maybe this information helps you ??

    You have AdSense scripts inserted before the consent is given.

    It shoud be Client-side insert.

    @spacetime if i set manual loading to auto on ads inserter will it work with Quantcast Choice

    Yes, the ads will be loaded as soon as the consent is given.

    @rbaronqc Having increase of 2.1a errors, and everything is fine with setup.

    First time all errors completely disappeared on 9/16 and then reappeared on 9/25 with 114 errors, to slightly increase every so often.
    I’ve checked everything 100s of times, Spacetime checked also, and everything is fine, I cannot think of any reason why these errors are popping up. Is there any reason that is out of my influence, that could affect this? Any bug in Choice code?

    Hi we have implemented ad inserter pro with adsense banners and it seems to work. The problem, however, is that revenue are drastically reduced. while the impressions have remained unchanged, the number of clicks has changed considerably. We have gone from 0.60% CTR to 0.07%. Why? We have observed that many clicks are taken away. Anyone know anything about it? Thank you.

    I am in the similar situation as you and other editors.

    I am using The Moneytizer + Adsense and I collect consent through The Moneytizer’s Consent management solution.

    Adsense tags load before users give their consent through The Moneytizer’s consent manangement banner.

    This triggers 2.1a erros.

    I have tried adding a bit of coding as suggested in Google’s FAQ (see below) but then it stops all ads from loading after users give their consent.

    Any leads would be appreciated on how to fix 2.1a erros when you use Adsense + The Moneytizer with The Moneytizer’s consent management solution ?
