  • Hey @daibo,

This unfortunately is just a result of the Chinese Traditional translation being somewhat incomplete. We are always accepting contributions for translations on our new community-driven Translations site, which can be found here → https://translations.theeventscalendar.com

If you’re curious about how this new site works, or how to contribute translations to bring Chinese Traditional to a more complete translation, check out these two Knowledgebase articles on our site:

    Cheers!

I understand that there may be some text in the plugin that is not yet translated. But for the ones that are already translated, the string should be translated from first character to last character, not just a substring. I have verified in poedit with the pot file and the po file in the lang/ folder and the strings in question are fully translated, and I don’t understand why it only shows a partially translated string when the plugin is actually used.

    Hi DaiBo,

It may be that you are finding a string that looks like the translation in question, but actually is not. For example you may be seeing a complete translation for some text like this:

    “Find events”

However, in our latest builds, that may have been replaced and be a composition of two separate strings:

    “Find %s”
    “Events”

I hope that adds some insights and really can otherwise only echo what George has already described ??
