chinese language is all vertical in text

    hi,is anyone using different languages with their menu?

    I am trying to install chinese language into my main menu-

    i insert the text widget and then put in the chinese language
    but it is all vertical. each character is on top of each other.
    has anyone tried to put chinese text into the hover drop down menu?

    thanks for any help on this!

    actually, this looks like a conflict with the WPML translation plugin.

    even when i put english into the text goes vertical in the fly out menu box. I guess you call it fly out menu. in the english/main language.
    everything is fine. when u change languages- the menu is different

    so maybe there is a text box widget that might be more user friendly?

    Hi pelagictraveler,

    This is due to some CSS that your theme is applying to the menu.

    More specifically, this is what you need to find and remove in your themes header.php file: https://screencast.com/t/MdqOk5Cx81

    Or you could add some more menu items and it’ll probably fix itself (like it has for your other languages)

    holy shxxt tom, u rock. i deleted the code that you specifically singled out in the header, and then optimized the picture in the widget and it works!.. i will now be able to apply this to all my languages.

    I will be using this menu on all my sites. your support is beyond any plugin i have used.
