    Hey!
I am using Rambo Pro and have also installed a child theme.

I am getting pretty frustrated because sometimes it works, and sometimes my changes will revert back to previous changes within 24 hours.

Example: yesterday I changed the line height of the Widget_title h2 from 20px to 24px. I saved, emptied cache and checked the changes – Everything looked great. Then this morning the line height was 20px again.

I have try reinstalling my parent theme, turning off child theme. Nothing seems to stop this problem from occuring.

Its a bit frustrating to not know if the changes I make will last more than a few hour or days, and to keep making the same changes over and over again.

Does anyone have any possible solutions or ideas as to why this problem is occuring? I am only editing css in my child theme.

    My site is https://socialworkshop.dk/

If you check this page: https://socialworkshop.dk/om-os/
You will see that the blog_single_page h2 a is gray (even though I have changed it numerous times to white in my child theme. The same problem occurs with the widget title.

Basically every time I make a change, it reverts back after a few hours. And sometimes it doesn’t .

unfortunately since it’s a premium paid for theme you need to contact the theme’s developers for support.

It’s not surprising that the rendering is hit and miss if you take a look at a css validation test. Ask the developers about that.

That’s insane!! Oh no ?? Bill, where do you suggest I go from here? I am guessing it is not any easy fix for myself or the developers. Is the best option to start all over with a new theme? Or is it fixable?

if you’ve not got access to the backed up version of the site then i’d suggest starting over with a new theme. (or find out the name of the theme you’re using, reupload a fresh version and start making it look the way it used to…)

Hmmm, I just downloaded and re-installed the theme yesterday trying to fix the problems I am having. I am guessing 900 css errors aren’t coming from the 20 lines of code I have made in the child theme, but from the parent theme itself.

I think what Jack said is good advice, although I see you already re-installed a fresh version of your parent theme with no improvement.

You paid for a premium theme. Support should come with that. If I was looking at the right Rambo Pro developer site, they seem to take pride in the support they offer. See what they have to say about the validation mess, and your particular difficulties as well. Maybe they’ll come through for you. I hope so.
