    Hello,

    I’m running WordPress v4.8.1 and Plugin v6.4.0 and I’m having issues with it updating my Child Themes. I’m using Elegant Themes, and have a valid API applied to Elegant’s theme updates.

    I get this error in the email.

    WordPress site: https://jonesyshomeinspection.com/
    The following themes were successfully updated:
    * SUCCESS: Divi Child

    UPDATE LOG
    ==========

    Divi Child
    ———-
    Updating theme: Divi Child
    The theme is at the latest version.
    Error: [fs_unavailable] Could not access filesystem.

    The theme is still not updated. Any advice for a solution would be helpful as I have a dozen sites or so running this theme. Thanks!

    Hi Josh,

    We only support plugins and themes on www.remarpro.com. We can not support all third party plugins and themes that are out there. Therefore, if a third party plugin or theme is not working with Easy Updates Manager there is nothing that can really be done. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I get you can’t support every theme out there, but the error I’m given is pretty specific.

    Error: [fs_unavailable] Could not access filesystem.

    Could you (or anyone) maybe point me in the right direction? Could it be a folder within WordPress that needs to have different permissions? Surely this can be a relatively easy fix.

    Unfortunately that error is really generi and is the last message if automatic updates fail, regardless if the file system is not at fault.

    Can you point the Divi team to this thread and perhaps we can work together to resolve this issue.

    The main issue being, we don’t have a license to test, and with so many third-party plugins and themes, it’s impossible for us financially maintaining a free plugin to test them all.

    Will do. Thanks for your help.
