• Hi, I am using for the first time child theme wit oceanwp and elementor and wordpress multisite. I needed it because I had to change title on blog page (You might also like, continue reading…). However, after a while, I noticed that when i try to edit page I get only white screen. It only happens in wordpress edit environment, elementor edit is working just fine.

Funny thing is, if i use it in one browser it gets cached so I can not even visit that page anymore because I get white screen. My workaround so far is that I switched to regular oceanwp, but I kind of dont like it because it stays with you might also like and continue reading in english I my client doesnt like it. I dont even know are those changes related with white screen and I am open to any suggestions.

I have tried to disable/enable plugins, clear the cache… it doesnt help. It works fine on wordpress default theme so I assume its a php error in child theme?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • How did you create the child theme?

Do you know that OceanWP has an official child theme we can use? This is the GitHub link to download it.

    Hello @sdvizac,

Our child theme should not raise any issues, either on a single installation or multisite, however, you should check if you have it enabled for the subsite you wish to use it, for instance.

Perhaps you will need to reupload the child theme via SFTP since it might be corrupted.
