child theme – template missing

You don’t have a child theme active on your site. Looks like you may have put the child theme folder INSIDE the parent theme – which is incorrect.

It should be on the same level as all the other themes:

wp-content
    themes
        twentyeleven
        twentyelevenchild (or whatever you name the folder)

I do have a twentyeleven-child folder in the themes folder.
Inside the child’s folder are: style.css, header php and a functions php.

Does this make sense?

What shows as your ACTIVE theme in your dashboard?

active: Twenty Eleven
It states my Twenty Eleven/twentyeleven-child Template is missing

In my Themes folder thru the ftp site:
I have the twentyeleven folder and twentyeleven-child folder

Inside the twentyeleven-child folder
style.css
header.php
functions.php

????? How do I create, get, copy, this missing template?
