    I got a theme I bought. I made a child theme. My style.css doesn’t seem loaded at all. I looked at my site source and it’s not referenced.

    Is this normal?

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.

    yes, I’m trying to work out if
    1) it should reference the file and if so:
    2) it’s a bug in the theme or in WP

    so that I can ask them confident it’s their fault

    Child themes work fine in WordPress, so the only possible causes for this are:

    1. an issue in the parent commercial theme
    2. an issue in your child theme.
