Child theme & strings

After some bugs was added a child theme:
Flatsome Child
I need to update strings from the translation menu and noticed that it doesn’t change anything on the child theme, but changes in the main theme.
I followed this guide: https://polylang.pro/doc/my-theme-provides-a-wpml-config-xml-but-nothing-appears-in-the-strings-translation-table/
The the code edit in the css file found “key name” Flatsome Child.
Copied wpml-config.xml, edited to key name=”flatsomechild”, create a folder polylang in /wp-content/ and added a file.
The approach didn’t work. Then I checked child’s theme folder name, it’s flatsome-child, updated key name to flatsome-child. Still doesn’t work.
What am I doing wrong and how to fix this?
