Hi, I have been creating a child theme for this theme and when I updated the theme today the slider on the home page disappears. I switched back to the original Corpo theme with non child theme and it came back. I then switched to the child theme with no changes at all and it still didn’t show up. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I found out wp is looking for the color scheme files and javascript files in the child theme folder, it wasn’t doing this before the update. I copied those folders over to the child theme and it all works now but I don’t think this is the normal behavior is it?

It was my intention to give users the option to overwrite color scheme and basic scripts in child theme as well as the main css.

    Word, good to know ??

I just updated to WP 3.6 and lost my home page sliders, my logo and my color choice (it has defaulted to showing the theme logo and original color scheme). My pages are still there along with photos, video, etc. but the home page appearance is horrid…

I did back-up my site prior to the update and had turned off all plug-ins, then re-activated them, but not sure what to do next?
