    Hi,
I have PinBlack 1.4 installed and wanted to make a child theme before updating so as to keep some changes my client wants. I can’t seem to make it work, so I thought I’d better check and see if PinBlack was child-friendly before I go any further. ?? If 1.5.1 is child-friendly I can update and go from there.
    Thanks!
    Jane

Hi Janeguild, this should be possible.
Which changes specifically do you want implemented? If they’re just CSS changes, then you can use the Jetpack plugin’s Custom CSS functionality to hold your CSS.

Were there any errors thrown when the Child Theme hadn’t worked?
Can you post here the contents of your Child Theme’s stylesheet?
Can you stated in which directory your Child Theme is in?

    Hello @janeguild,

Please update to version 1.5.1 as we’ve updated how the stylesheets are loaded in that version.

    Hi there,
I’ll upgrade to 1.5.1 and see if the child theme works. If I still have problems I’ll post the changes and what’s not working.
    Thanks for awesome responsiveness!
