Child Theme Options from Parent Theme

  • Hi everyone,

    I am creating a child theme for any future modifications I want to do, but mainly because I am having trouble using endpoints to redirect my e-commerce website (Storefront theme under Woocommerce) to a thank you page. Instead it redirects to an “Oops page not found” which confuses my customers.

    My question is, when creating the child theme, are the options I set in the parent able to be carried across? For example I set a background image in the parent. The child does not carry this across. Also my menus are not set up in the Child as they were in the parent. I know I may be able to just do this manually, but please let me know if I can import the parent’s options.
