Yes i had read this. But is doesn′t helps me to get discovery as child theme with all js and css files of discovery to run. Some javascript and css files will not be loaded in comparison discovery and child theme. So in current state the child is broken.

Currently my inherit child theme has an style.css witch includes the style css of discovery.

It possible to inherit a child theme of discovery or is it better to customize the theme itself? Who has experiences with inheritance specific of discovery theme?

I just made a child theme of Discovery on my local install and all of the extra CSS and JS files are loading for me. How did you make the child theme? What in particular isn’t working for you?

Ok i got it. The problem was, that i didn′t set the text-domain in configuration before the activation of child theme. After activation wordpress will no set the text-domain, so a confusing behaviour of theme is the result.

Sorry for circumstances and thanks for your effort @stephencottontail.
