Child theme not working for me

    I have made a child theme but none of my change have any effect on the website. I have read that other have had this problem a few months ago but this issue seems to be unresolved.

    Please advise.

  • Is your child theme is activated form backend? Is your child theme developed without any error?

    Hello. There appear to be no errors and it has been activated from the backend.
    I have worked with child themes before so am confused as to why this is happening.

    I have read other posts saying the child themes don’t work for the Enigma theme, but those posts are 10 moths old and the developer said that he would fix it.

    Any ideas?

    Ok. This issue has been resolved. It was my error.

    I was trying to change the formatting of some of the background colours on the Enigma home page. I had neglected to manually add styles to the new child css.
