• I’ve been reading about clearing the browser cache after updating to the latest version, in order to get the menu to display correctly.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work for my child theme. After updating, my header.php for the child theme was invalid, but that was easily corrected. But now all formatting for the menu has disappeared.
It would be nice to know exactly what has been changed in the code, in order to be able to correct my child theme, instead of having to start all over again.
Is there more info on this somewhere?

    Thanks, Leo

It seems that nearly all classes and id names in the menu segment (and maybe more I haven’t checked yet) have been altered in this update. I think this is bad practice, because this is bound to break most child themes. Shouldn’t there have been a warning or reference on these changes?

Same here. I’m not much into the coding part and struggled to create and customize a child theme. Now it has been rendered useless due to the udpate.
