Child theme is blank

    i am not an expert WP developer, but have been working on a site for an non-proft organization for free.

    i am trying to create a child/parent set up because (i messed up in the first place and didnt do this) and now need to download updated theme version.

    i activated this plugin and created a child theme. i also added all the parent templates listed under the Files tab.

    the theme shows up blank when i try to preview. and if i activate, it is also blank.

    please advise.

    First, you do not need to copy files from the parent unless you intend to edit them. The child theme will automatically use the parent theme’s templates and functions.
