    Hi friends,

I’m using child theme header.php (for some “ad calling js code”).
Reading changelog. (I’m not an IT man.)
Do I guess well that after updating to 3.3.8(9.. ect.), it is also advisable to update the header.php in the child theme (if it is used there with any added content) in order to maintain the sync with new header changes?

  • I had some customization in my header.php file in my child theme as well and the menu wasn’t working right after 3.3.9. I just basically started over and opened the header.php file from the main hueman folder and saw what files it calls, then I copied over those files to my child theme and edited them.

In my case I had to add my customization to hueman-child/parts/header-main.php and hueman-child/parts/header-nav-topbar.php which are called by header.php

I guess it’s good practice to keep up with main theme changes.

    Hi @sho-down,

Thanks a lot for the hint. I’ll do so.
