Child theme for Kathmandu free

Hello. I am using Kathmandu free, and REALLY like it. I want to create a child theme for it on a “virgin” website using Child Theme Configurator version 2.1.2. When I have that plugin analyze the Kathmandu Free theme, it returns the following caveats:

1. The theme “Catch Kathmandu” generated unexpected PHP debug output.

It is possible that this theme has specific requirements to work correctly as a child theme. Please make sure you are using the latest version of this theme and check your theme’s documentation for more information.

2. This theme loads additional stylesheets after the style.css file:

css/genericons/genericons.css
css/responsive.css
Consider saving new custom styles to a “Separate stylesheet” (see step 5, below) so that you can customize these styles.

Do you have any considerations or recommendations on this? I have chose this plugin over one-click child theme plugin because one-click child theme was last updated 2 years ago. Thanks
