What files do you have in your Child Theme directory?

Try turning debug on and enabling error logging.

thanks Esmi, I’ve made the change as per Turning Debug on. Now it crashes with a blank page instead of a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error?

Check your new error log.

It simply doesn’t work. Really annoying and frustrating. how can this theme be highly rated if it doesn’t even support a child theme. Crashes everytime.

I changed to Customizr which I can really recommend. The support is fantastic – both from the developer of the theme and expert voluteers. Child theme works, all plug-ins work and it is responsive!
