Child theme customizations

Hi there,

First of all many things for this very helpful theme! It is very extensive and the customizations are really good! However, I do have a couple of things I would like to modify. E.g. the exact golden color, the order of the Homepage areas and I would like to have the_excerpt shown for the articles instead of the first part of the content.

This can all be fixed in the code, but because the usage of the separate relia.php file (inc/relia folder) and the gold.css file, it is not that easy to overwrite using a child theme. Hence, I’m curious whether you have some tips&trics how I can add some modifications, without missing new cool features when you provide a new update. I don’t want all modifications to get lost on an update.

Off course no modifications will made to the footer due to credits, as I’m really greatful for this theme!
