Child Theme – Custom templates for plugin

Hi, I’ve built a child theme for Vantage and the one thing that isn’t cooperating is a set of custom templates for the plugin “Goods Catalog”. If I put the page templates in the Vantage parent theme, it works. But if I put those templates in the child theme instead, it doesn’t recognize them and shows the default appearance for the plugin.

I want the site I’m working on to be as update-proof as possible so I don’t have to manually replace the template files when a newer version comes out and overwrites them. Any ideas?
