Child theme CSS not supported

    Hello!
    I created a child theme for Business Idea however my CSS is not working. However when I place the same CSS in the Additional CSS section of the Customizer it works fine.

    So far the only customization is:
    .page_title {
    display: none;
    }

    I created a child theme so I can potentially override more than just CSS.

    Does this theme support a child theme?

    I’m sorry for posting first. I found the cause of my problem. The problem was that I imported the parent theme style sheet into my child theme style sheet instead of using wp_enqueue_style.

    Here is my solution.

    In the child theme directory add a functions.php file with the following code:

    $parent_style = ‘business-idea-style’;

    wp_enqueue_style( $parent_style, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’ );
    wp_enqueue_style( ‘child-style’,
    get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’,
    array( $parent_style ),
    wp_get_theme()->get(‘Version’)
    );
    }
    add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘my_theme_enqueue_styles’ );
    ?>
