• Hello,

I just started with the idea to create a website for my small business. Purchased the hosting with Bluehost. I installed WP and added the Futurio theme, including plug-in and Elementor plug-in.

Still working on customization, but so far it seems pretty intuitive.
    Just 2 questions:

    1) If I want to modify things like background photo (surfing guy), element blocks and menu arrangement, do I need to create a child theme and modify there? Or can I do it in the parent theme directly? I’m just a beginner, so I won’t be adding any extra functions, scripts and such. I just want to swap out photos, drag and drop, rearranging, creating a couple of subpages (contact, about us, etc.) cloned from the home page, etc. Not sure if these actions will break the parent theme in case of an update?

    2) The GPL license states it’s free to use, distribute, modify, etc. Does it have any limitation regarding commercial use? Or the free to use applies to commercial as well?

Sorry for the n00b questions, I did try the documentation first ??
    Thank you for your attention.

    PS: installed Futurio 1.4.0
