Child theme

    Hello,

    I have created a child theme. I followed the codex to do that. I created a functions php, and a style css, and placed both in the theme directory: it showed up in word press. However, when I activated the theme, I saw that it is a different version. It is also authored by someone else. Also, it looks completely different: not formatted at all?
