I have created my Parent/Child page, complete with related child table records. What I have not been able to do is apply a template to the child records in the modal popup.

    How is this accomplished?

Also, when using the wpdadataforms project_id shortcode, there doesn’t seem to be a large/obvious “add new” or “insert” icon beyond the one in the footer row. Additionally, the “insert” icon in the header row is disabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I believe I may have answered my own question on the issue of the child table display. It appears the “default” template is the one that is displayed in the modal pop-up. Is that correct or would there be another way?

    Hi @rbuschmeyer,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Data Forms uses one template for all pages and popups. It is not possible to change this behaviour as it is defined globally. Project templates apply to back-end pages only (and front-en pages using shortcode wpdadiehard).

    >>> Also, when using the wpdadataforms project_id shortcode, there doesn’t seem to be a large/obvious “add new” or “insert” icon beyond the one in the footer row. Additionally, the “insert” icon in the header row is disabled.

The icons shown on your pages and popups depend on the access right you defined in your project page. Please enable insert, update and delete in your project page to add the icons.

    Does this help?

    Thanks,
    Peter
