Child Sitemaps cant be read by GSC

    Does this mean Google Search won’t list my posts on Google Search? I am confused. How to solve this?

    Total discovered pages isn’t increasing from 10,895 no matter how many posts I publish

    Hello @zack254

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your sitemap. Your sitemap was submitted successfully, while Google is still processing it (including the child sitemaps). You’d have to give it some more time as it seems you have a large site. Also, this doesn’t mean your posts won’t be indexed as URLs are found by other means other than your sitemap.

    Are there URLs you have inspected that are not indexed yet? Do share them.

    I submitted the sitemap on March this year and all child sitemaps were available but since last week the child sitemaps disappear.

    You can resubmit the sitemap index and monitor the results – Submit Your Sitemap To Search Engines

    Since the sitemap loads fine in the broswer, you may reach out to the Google Search Central Help Community for further help.
