    I have a sub domain I am using for development that will replace an https domain. That is besides the point.

    cnyc.unaomnia.com/jnyc is set to be mapped to jnyc.unaomnia.com

    cnyc.unaomnia.com/jnyc/list is being changed to jnyc.unaomnia.com/list however it is returning a 404.

    I did not find an answer in the other support threads but I DID spend time looking at many of which seemed relevant.

    https://jnyc.unaomnia.com/items-wanted/

    This works and was cnyc.unaomnia.com/jnyc/items-wanted and is a taxonomy with all of its type set to have jnyc/ before the term slug. That works fine.

    I was going to the same for individual posts or post type archives etc if need be.

    Right now I am stuck on pages. Here are plugins I have used but deactivated:

    Custom Post Type Permalinks
    WP Category Permalink

    Deactivating them actually caused the mapped homepage jnyc.unaomnia.com to be 404 not found which was very unsual. I tried saving permalink settings, saving plugin settings, and clearing cache, and going into incogito etc, and that didn’t work, so I reactivated them.

    I am TOTALLY lost with your plugin. I need a solution to map ALLLLLL of the dashboard to a domain, with subchapters/pages/archives etc, not just a 1:1 ratio of page to domain, that isn’t really useful.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    if you have already entered
    cnyc.unaomnia.com/jnyc <-> jnyc.unaomnia.com
    you won’t need to enter
    cnyc.unaomnia.com/jnyc/list <-> jnyc.unaomnia.com/list
    as by default everything behind the entered url part is mapped. please remove this first. i guess this answers you last paragraph as well, which i do not understand completely ??

    i do not know the 2 plugins you mentioned and currently do really have zero time available to dive into other plugins/compatibility – sorry for that :/
    best is always to investigate plugins independent from each other and then start combining them if they work on same parts like here urls/permalinks…

    I have been doing that now for like 24+ hours (3 x 8+ hour days) …

    I also did custom rewrites…

    I just cannot time it right at all. I constantly save permalink settings, and check in incognito.

    THE PROBLEM IS ALMOST ALWAYS THE WRONG CONTENT SHOWING but the link being correct.

    Scenarios:

    Pages – only work with Settings -> Permalinks -> %postname%
    Mostly doesn’t work with any other plugin… or any filtering / rewrites etc. Usually the link seems to go to the right place but the content there is incorrect.

    Posts – Works with settings OR custom rewrites (post_link init filter) OR plugins usually

    Custom Post Types and Taxonomy – Works with post type rewrite settings usually

    Events Manager Plugin – EXTREMELY tough because it has permalink rewrites that are turned off by setting to Plain WHICH directly conflicts with the requirement for pages.

    I was considering making another custom post type to imitate pages for pages to be mapped to the other domain.

    I will be working on it all day.. like 16+ hours.. then after that.. I get to work out the keeping users logged in issue and the SSL stuff.

    Right now I am on subdomains but I will switch both to https sites.. AND the certificate only covers https://jugglenyc.com and https://circusnyc.com i.e. i need to forward http to https AND www to non www. I.E. I will have to account for the domain mapping in the redirects as well.

    I am confident I can work it out. Would be easier if the permalink structure was easier to work out.

    So subpages and sub of subs work out of the box… complications come in adding post types and taxonomy of the custom persuasion:

    Marking as resolved… forgot that step…
