child category shows up as parent category

    hi,
    i’m filling my catalogue with products sorted in categories, wich i would like to sort in child categories, but che products in the child categories are showing up also in the parent category. also che child category shows up as a parent category in the navigation menue of the catalogue. if i look at the category structure the child cat show up correctly as a child cat of the parent cat. do i miss something or do i something wrong?

    Hi Alex,

    The plugin doesn’t currently have very good handling of different levels of categories. I’ll be implementing better handling of this like you describe in the next major release.

    thanks for reply, I’ll wait for the release and in the meantime i will work with parents directory only.
    p.s. by the way, your plugin is really useful and simple, exactly what i was looking for.

    I have to say, your contribution to the plugin directory is special, and unique. I really can say with some authority that you have a plugin that does what no other plug in does.
    Yes, I have some requests to make it better, but you know what – you have done an amazing job with this project. I am very thankful for your efforts.

    In regard to my request, for the next version possibly…
    It would be nice if sub catagories would fold up when not being used.. for example:
    I am looking at this item:
    First Category
    Sub 1
    Sub 2 <–
    Second Category
    Third Category

    and now, I look at this item:
    First Category
    Second Category
    Sub 1
    Sub 2
    Sub 3 <—

    The first category folded back up and revealed the second category. That would be really awesome.

    Notice for everyone
    The Pro version is finished, and it does have much better handling of categories and subcategories, and breadcrumbs are all sorted out and working great. I’m just putting together the sales site and documentation and will launch really soon. Thanks for your patience
