    Hi

Request your help with the display of child-categories.

    Problem description:

I have created certain child categories and added them as ‘sub-item’, while creating the menu.

However, on opening the site, all I see is the ‘parent’ menu item and not its sub-items.

The website to refer is – https://www.chaitanyasblog.com/

    Thank you for your inputs.

    Best

    Chaitanya

  • Hello,
Theme you are using hasn’t been updated in over two year. It would better to switch to another theme having proper support and help.
    Thanks

    Hi

WEN Solutions, yes I agree. However, I really like the simplicity of this theme and do not want to switch unless it is the only option.

I am sure this requirement can be fulfilled by custom CSS, unfortunately I cannot figure this one out.

Any input from your side is highly appreciated.

    Thank You.

    Best.

    Hello,
If you want the same theme it ok. For that you have to edit some line of code on header.php. Go to header.php file and in line number 30, 32, 34 make depth=>5 and have a look on front end.

Note: Child theme is recommended to customize theme.
    Thanks

    Hi

This isn’t working. The child categories are not appearing as menu sub-items. I have update the changes using custom CSS (plugin)

Do you recommend anything else I could do.

    Thanks and regards.

    Hello,
The above given code is not CSS. You have to edit the theme file, header.php.
    Thanks
