Chevrons around the link, inside the Reset PW email, are broke in some clients

This was brought up once before, but for some reason the topic was closed:
There is also a fix for it on WP Dev Stack Exchange
This has affected a good number of our users and we’re hoping it gets fixed in WordPress Core. Could someone please advise?
