  • Hey Lea,

thanks for reaching out – would you be so kind and give me a link to your blog, so that I can take a closer look? Could it be you have manually edited those posts via the orange “Edit Related Posts” button? Or do you have by any chance WP Cache plugin installed?

    Looking forward to your reply,
    Petra

    Hi Petra

Here is a link to a post on my site: https://www.kamoha.org.il/?p=23662
In the related posts, the left most post is the problematic one.

And yes, those posts were manually edited via the button. I wasn’t aware that it mattered ??

    Thank you!

    Hey Lea,

really sorry for this late reply but yes, it matters because when you manually edit those posts, our plugin “remembers” which posts you chose and also every attributes for that post.
I have rechecked your blog and it seems it is working now – the correct thumbnails are showing?

Take care and enjoy the day,

    Hi Petra

No, it’s still showing the old one.
In a different post I was able to “convince” WordPress Related Posts to show the correct thumbnail, but that was only after deleting the previous thumbnail.
Is that the only way to change the thumbnail in WRP?

    Thank you
    Lea

Actually I found that if I remove the post via the “Edit Related Posts” button, and then re add it, the correct thumbnail shows up. Is that the way to do it?

    Hey,

yes…unfortunately that’s the way to do it. I know it is a bit inconvenient but it get’s the job done.

If you have any other questions let me know or need an assistance, let me know.

Take care and enjoy the day,
    Petra
