Chenge Page Name "portfolio-3" into "portfolio"

  • Hi,
    I created my “portfolio” page but was not the first “portfolio” page so WP called it “portfolio-3”.

    I tried to edit the name but WP didn’t change the name and re-set “portfolio-3” as name.

    There is not another “portfolio” page at the moment, so I can’t understand this behaviour.

    I think that problably I need to cancel a “portfolio” reference somewhere but I don’t know where because I don’t know the WP structure.

    Can you help me?

  • try trashing old portfolio and edit the new portfolio-3 to portfolio

    the tricky problem is that there is no other “portfolio” page in my blog to trash.

    just the “portfolio-3” page that don’t want to change its name!
    any ideas?

    Under “Pages”, go “quick edit” and see if it’s the slug name causing the issue
