    When someone tries to buy a ticket and check out we are getting a message saying:

    Checkout Unavailable!
    Checkout is not available at this time because a payment method has not been set up for this event. Please notify the site administrator.

    The link to PayPal is set up and enabled and when I resync the connection I get a message saying:

    PayPal access token was refreshed successfully.
    PayPal user info was refreshed successfully.
    PayPal webhooks refreshed successfully.

    I have confirmed that the sandbox box is not checked. Any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks!

    Are you using Tickets Commerce with our Event Tickets plugin?

    As a first step, can you check out this article and see if that helps?

    Thank you Jaime,

    Yes, we are using your “Event Tickets” plugin Version 5.3.1 with The Events Calendar plugin. We have enabled “Tickets Commerce” in the Events settings.

    I have gone through all the relevant steps in the first link you posted. We are not using Stripe so I did not use that part. On the Events > Payments tab PayPal shows as being connected.

    I looked through the troubleshooting article you linked to and nothing in it seems to address our problem.

    No worries, we could also cater and reply to you on this thread. Sorry to hear that you are having this issue here.

    Could you try doing the following steps here:

    1. Reconnect PayPal Account.
    2. Clear Cookies & Flush Caching Plugins / Browser Cache.
    3. Make sure that it is connected to a live account, the test mode only works with Sandbox Accounts.

    Thanks @abzlevelup . Yes, we gave up and found another plugin to use as we were not able to solve this problem and it seemed like we could not get the support we needed to resolve this problem without paying for a pro license. So, I guess we can consider this “resolved.”
