Checkout Triggers using Paypal

  • Hello, Great plugins, we tested it with different orders placed in the same second with only one producy in stock(Triggers setup on Checkout Order Processed, Order Status Completed, Order status onHold and Order Status Processing). All the tests worked fine but one.
    We placed 2 orders at the same time one (#1) being less than 1/2 second before order 2 (#2). Both orders were redirected to Paypal. Order 2 was paid fast as I was already logged in into my Paypal account. It took longer for Order 1 as we enter a credit card number, etc…
    Order 1 has been placed before number 2, so number 2 should have gotten an error message “out of stock” , but both order went through and we got a negative inventory of -1. The product was setup inventory 1 no back order allowed.
    Is it possible to be protected from this with your plugin? The Pro version?

    Hi, @esp5466,

    Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

    I’m not sure if it’ll help, but please update the plugin to the latest v1.7.3 – I’ve added a new “Checkout update order meta” trigger there. This trigger is fired slightly earlier than “Checkout order processed”, so maybe that’ll make a difference.
