    Hi there,

    For years we had no problem with Amazon Pay. We have been using it basically since you started. However, as of recently we had to switch the plugin off and disable Amazon Pay on our website due to very long load times.

    As a comparison these are the load times with and without the plugin (latest version, latest WC, latestest WordPress Core):

    Load times:

    • With Amazon Pay: 35 seconds
    • Without Amazon Pay: 7 seconds

    We also use Stripe and PayPal. No problem there.

    @christian1983 I am assuming ou are testing Prepayment vs. Amazon Pay activated. So you are testing without any other payment providers. 10 seconds only for Amazon Pay is still very long if you consider that PayPal + Stripe take only 7 seconds.

    Will log a support ticket the way you mentioned.

    On our tests, we also include the Stripe plugin and also consider that our testing sites are not as Powerful as real Live sites. If you check the difference between With or Without Amazon Pay, the addition on Load time is 0.27 seconds.

    Yes, I immediately created the support ticket. But no response yet. The issue remains for me. Not sure how to resolve it. So far, the Amazon Pay plugin is still deactivated.
