Checkout product including tax and total tax line

That’s exactly what I am looking for as well. Hopefully somebody will be able to answer this…

Here’s what you need to do:

• Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Tax and make sure you have set Display prices during cart and checkout to “Excluding tax”.

Thank you for your response. But sadly that is not what I am looking for.

I want to show the prices including tax with the text (incl. tax) behind it. And I want to show a seperate line with the tax percentage and amount.

Do you know a solution for this? Maybe there is a plugin that does this?

You cannot display prices including tax as you want and also display a separate line for taxes.

If you want to display a separate line for taxes, you must follow the steps I provided above. If you want to display the name and percentage of the tax, you’ll do the following:

• Change Display tax totals to “Itemized”.
• When setting the tax rates, add the percentage to the name as shown here – https://cld.wthms.co/7VPjKV

Using custom code is not really an option for me and also not for our client.

I will leave the topic open for now so if I or someone else finds a solution it can be shared here.

The only way to achieve this is if the active theme has customized the checkout page so that the tax percentage shows. You or the theme author can use WC_Tax::get_rate_percent to show the percentage that was calculated for the order within the order review section:

Would this also be included in the order email that the customer gets? Or is this all just for the checkout and not the rest of the system?

This would be just what shows on the checkout page. You would have to customize the email templates too add that data there.
