    Hello Guys,

I need your help with one of the problems I am facing with the checkout page of woocommerce.

Whenever I am adding a product to the cart/clicking on buy now and post that when I checkout then the checkout page is not getting displayed/showing a blank page. I deleted and created a new page using woocommerce shortcode for checkout page, however the problem still persists.

Can you please help me with what can be done to fix this issue? If you want then I can share the wordpress login details for you people to check. Kindly help me out.

Should you need any further details then please do let me know

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @horapawan! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

If you want then I can share the wordpress login details for you people to check.?

For security reasons, please do not offer login information on public places. But don’t worry, we can help you investigate this issue without it.

There are a few things that might cause it. So I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.
    • You mentioned this happens with the short code, right? Can you please check if it happens with the Checkout Block too?
    • Please share a screenshot of what you see on WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced. I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

You mentioned this happens with the short code, right? Can you please check if it happens with the Checkout Block too?

It was a default checkout page which was provided in the original theme. It was made using the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout]

Please do let me know dear in case you need any further details apart from this. Thanks again for helping me out ??

    Hello Dear All,

    Hello,

Please help me friends. I am really stuck with this issue. In case you need any further information then please let me know but kindly help me out

    Hey there ??

    Thanks for sharing that!

Hmm, checking your site, I see what you mean:

    emart/woocommerce/cart/proceed-to-checkout-button.php
    emart/woocommerce/checkout/form-billing.php
    emart/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php

Checking your System Status Report, I’m able to see that your current theme overrides the default checkout template.

Can you see if temporarily switching to a default theme, such as Storefront, resolves the issue?

To prevent testing on your live site, you can use the free Health Check plugin which will allow you to switch themes while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If the issue is still present when switching themes, can you please try the following:

    1. Create a new page.
    2. Add the WooCommerce checkout shortcode [woocommerce_checkout].
    3. Publish and update the changes.
    4. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → AdvancedPage setup and select the newly created page for the “Checkout page”:

Remember to Save the changes, and then check the page you have created.

    Cheers!

    Hi Roxy,

Thanks for helping me out ??

As per your directions when I switched to the storefront theme, the checkout page works fine.

But as soon as I switch back to my original Emart theme, the checkout page again shows a blank page.

Please let me know / suggest what is to be done further

    Thanks again

    Hi @horapawan,

First, upgrade your WC to the latest version. After that, try replacing the checkout block with the classic checkout block. This might resolve the issue you’re experiencing.

If not, you can add the checkout shortcode as an alternative solution.

If this makes no difference, it would be best to reach out to the theme’s developers for further assistance. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to hearing from you!
