  • Hi – We are having the exact same issue as this for a site we look after ledilluminations {dot} co.uk

    We upgraded WP and now the products-page/checkout just refreshes when you press Proceed to go to paymen.

    I have disabled and removed any cache plugins.
    I have moved Country above State
    I have flushed the Store cache many times
    I have changed to TwentyTwelve theme

    Still the same issue. The proceed just refreshes the page.

    Would someone please be able to offer a clue?

    Have you updated to the latest WP eCommerce vresion ? 3.8.14.2 was just released

    We are informed by the client that a customer was having difficulties ordering – so, in trying to figure out why, I thought I would update all plugins and wordpress this morning.

    So, currently running WordPress 3.9.2 and WP e-Commerce 3.8.14.2

    Any help to get this resolved would be GREATLY appreciated

    Do you have any WPEC theme files moved in your theme folder ?
    Look under Store -> Presentation (Advanced theme settings on the right side)

    Yes, there are 2 listed there. wpsc-single_product.php and wpsc-products_page.php

    Do you think there would be an error in those Product pages that needs updating so the checkout works Mihai?

    Hi Mihai, I have some progress, it seems that if the product is in only ONE category, then it works. But if the product is in 2 or more categories then the checkout page just refreshes and fails.
    Does this point to a setting somewhere not working?

    Ahh – seems that if I go through the Categories and reset the target destinations to None and then hit save it works. For some reason the update had forgotten that this was the way it was set and it needed to be reset…..

    I am glad you figured out the solution to the issue. This sounds like a bug in the software, so you may file an issue on github https://github.com/wp-e-commerce/WP-e-Commerce.

    Has this been resolved via an update ?

    To go through all catgories one by one will take hours…….

    Can it be done by changing target markets in shop settings ?

    Touch Wood Mihai has sorted our problem with a looping cart page – many thanks!

    It looks as if it may of been my reluctance (fear!) in in updating pluging to ltaest issue that could of caused issue.

    Hopefully Mihai will describe problem and issue so it can help others
