Checkout Looping/Spinning Woocommerce

I have woocommerce PayPal payments, everything works fine until you hit place order. The money comes through via PayPal but the website page just shows a spinning wheel so the customer thinks the order didn’t go through and they just keep submitting payment and paying multiple times. There is no error showing up.
