I use this plugin User Switching to let the customer support login to users accounts and assist in placing orders.

The problem I have is that when I am logged in to another user and click on checkout to complete the order, the loading icon keeps spinning for 1-2 minutes (console doesn’t show any error). After a while, the order is completed but in the backend, it has created 2 orders. One with the “on-hold” status and one with the “processing” status.

On the User Switching support page, the author claims that this kind of issues has nothing to do with that plugin since the plugin just changes the users. So, it has to be something with Woocommerce.

Does anyone have a similar experience? Is there anything I can do to debug further?

P.S. I increased the memory limit from 32MB to 128MB. The site became faster, but the above issue hasn’t been fixed.

    Hi there,

I haven’t heard of any issues exactly like this, but they tend to occur due to plugin or theme conflicts.

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    Hi @dantekavala,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Cheers!
