Hi I am wondering if it is possible to move the privacy policy/t&c/agree to data panel above the payment section (I use Braintree for WooCommerce). I am finding that PayPal customers are missing these tick boxes because they are below the payment button and can be off screen. Less of a problem with credit card as once info is entered the place order button appears below these tick boxes. I am using Storefront. Is there solution to this or perhaps an alternative layout?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

It’s possible although it would require additional custom coding as there are no default options in that regard. Given the extent of the code involved, we’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the customisation experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

HI RK thanks for the quick reply. I do have some developer skills – might this require web hooks or editing the functions.php?

That’s great! Yes, either changing the order in which hooks are fired or removing/re-adding the actions in a different spot.

You could look into overriding the WooCommerce checkout page template in a child theme although I suspect that you’d *still* need to use hooks ??

I am using a child theme of Storefront yes. Do you know of any tutorial involving similar?

It would be interesting to know as this seems to be a common comment from others why the terms section is ahead of the payment section. If there is no particular reason then would be good for Woo to adjust the payment.php accordingly.

I’d like to help you with this but I am afraid we are not developers and only offer support for existing functionality, so this type of customization is not within the scope of our support policy.

As you are comfortable with coding yourself and have questions, I would recommend that you join the WooCommerce Slack Community (https://woocommerceslack.herokuapp.com), or the Advanced WooCommerce Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/advanced.woocommerce).?

I hope that helps you to figure it out.
Feel free to get back to us if you have further questions.
