Checkout issues on 4.7

    I just updated our staging site to WC 4.7. This site uses COD payment option.

    After updating to 4.7 checkout no longer worked. When I click Place Order it loads then shows an error notice “Error Processing Checkout” but the order is recorded in the admin as “Payment Pending”. It never refreshes to the order complete page.

    If I downgrade to WC 4.6.2 it works fine.

    Not sure if there is somewhere else to post bugs…

    Hi there!

    If, with only WooCommerce and a standard theme like TwentyTwenty or Storefront active, you can reliably recreate an issue, then it could be considered a bug. In that case, you can head over to the WooCommerce Github, and submit a new issue. When you click the button to do so, you’ll be presented with instructions for what is required.

    If it turns out to be one of your other plugins, or your theme, you could try installing this extension: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper. On occasions where older plugins mix with newer ones, that plugin might help to bridge a gap.
