    When Square is enabled as a payment method, my checkout page doesn’t cope.
    My state field goes from a drop down menu to a blank field (that you can free type in), when someone selects Square as their payment method, it doesn’t show the fields for them to type their card details. You have to submit the order, get the error that says the state is wrong etc and then the state field turns to a drop down menu that you can select correct states from. At this stage the fields for payment also appear for people to enter their card details.

    It kind of works….like I can finally accept card payments again…but it’s too tedious for the custom and risks loosing a sale if they don’t jump through all the extra hoops.

    For now I’ve disabled the payment method.

    I’ve had a lot of previous issues with this plugin, it’s frequently deactivated. I’ll update things, try a few settings in various apps to try to help and it continues to disappoint so I deactivate it.
    Previously I couldn’t get a payment to go through successfully at all. Lost some sales, turned the option off.

    I also find it syncs data from Square to Woo even when I haven’t made any physical sales on Square. It stuffs my stock levels constantly. It’s also changed my prices and lost me money on sales because of it.

    I’m confident that it was the Square app that also previously stuffed with the settings on my variable items….took ages to fix that one. Now I’m scared to turn syncing on at all! This is a problem when I have big events where I use Square and sell products – it means a lot of manual stocktake to be done after ??
    Would just like to get the payments working without it breaking the checkout though!

    Sorry to hear of the issues your site is experiencing with Square. Let’s see if we can get the payments up and running correctly for you!

    Can you please try switching to a default WordPress theme, such as Storefront , to see if the problem still exists?

    If the problem with Square payments at checkout goes away, you’ll want to contact your theme developer about the issue.

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
