Checkout hiding credit card option

I have changed theme from Tutorque to Tutorstarter as there were too many glitches in Tutorque. Everything seems fine and dandy except that the debit/credit card option is no longer available on the WooCommerce Checkout page.
- On switching back to Tutorque, the option is available.
- I tried altering the hierarchy of the options.
- I tried switching the other options off.
- I restarted the WooCommerce plugin.
I can still accept payment by BACS and by Paypal but I would like to have the debit/credit card option working.
