checkout hangs as soon coupon is used

    If someone enters a free-shipping coupon code, the coupon is shown right on top of the shipping options on the checkout page, but the order can’t be placed because the layer showing the rotating dot covers the clickable elements on the checkout page, and will not disappear. Without the coupon, the rotating dot is only shown for a very short time, and then the order can be placed.
    Updating WooCommerce didn’t change anything, also deactivating/reactivating of coupons didn’t help.
    I had to turn off coupons in WC settings.
    How can this be fixed.

    Hi there!

    To reconfirm the checkout page stops working as soon as someone uses a coupon code. Is that right?

    That’s not something I could replicate on my own test site:

    This could be a conflict with your theme or one of the plugins. Before we confirm that though, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
