Checkout fields like city,county not displayng for other countries

    Hello. So i have an issue regarding checkout fields. So, when for example somebody try to buy from Romania witch is my country all the fields are changing and working perfectcly like county/state, city etc. but if i change it for another country it just stay stuck with county, town. For example i wanna order from Spain in Barcelona. When i select Spain and Barcelona, Barcelona goes to county/state as field and then you have to put a city in there aswell witch is wrong cuz Barcelona is a city already, the fields for other countries don’t change acordingly to the respective country.

    I understand the checkout fields don’t update correctly when selecting a country other than Romania. When choosing Spain and Barcelona, Barcelona appears in the county/state field instead of the city field.

    Barcelona is both a province and a city, which is why it may appear in both fields.

    To better understand why fields for other countries don’t update properly, could you share screenshots of the issue?

    It seems there was a miscommunication regarding your request and what you need help with. Based on the screenshot, everything appears to be functioning as expected, and after checking your site, I can confirm that it is working properly.

    To clarify, when selecting certain countries, you may have the option to choose a state, city, or town. However, for some countries, WooCommerce only provides a state selection by default but does not include a predefined list of cities or towns. Instead, users are given a blank field to manually enter the town or city name, which is what you’re experiencing.

    Additionally, some countries use provinces instead of states—for example, Barcelona is a province of Spain. In the town/city field, you should manually enter the name of your city or town within the province, such as Barcelona, Badalona, Terrassa, or Sitges. This is the expected behavior of WooCommerce’s checkout fields.

    Well, thank you for clarification then, yes it seemed odd but i get it now and i will see what i can do to have those fields costumized better.

    You can use a checkout field customization plugin such as Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce by woo, Checkout Field Editor (Checkout Manager) for WooCommerce by ThemeHigh, or YITH WooCommerce Checkout Manager to modify your checkout fields.
